I started working at South Bay Animal Hospital & Emergency in early 2015 until late 2019. I moved to Southern California for a few years and just recently came back to join the team again. I am excited to be back and see pets with their owners that I haven’t seen in a few years! Continuing to care for animals as a career is something I am so grateful to have.

CSR Lead
Having been born and raised in Southern California, moving to the Bay Area has been an exciting new adventure. I am so lucky to have become a part of the caring and compassionate staff at South Bay Animal Hospital & Emergency. I love being in a position where I am able to help others and put a smile on someone’s face. I am currently working toward a bachelor’s degree in English education and hope to someday become a teacher.
When I am not at work, I enjoy reading, baking, cooking, trips to the beach, and spending time with my friends and family. I have a very spoiled dog named Buddy who I love so much! Being around animals all day and seeing them receive the care that they need really warms my heart. I am so lucky to be a part of such a great team!

I have wanted to work with animals ever since I can remember. They fill our lives with so much happiness and love that is truly unconditional. I graduated from Hartnell College (Animal Health Program) in June of 1996 and received my RVT license in August. I have been in the Veterinary field both day practice and emergency, for over 25 years. My husband and I have two wonderful boys, two cute canines, and one feisty feline.

Amanda Micheli
Practice Manager
I grew up in the small town of Angels Camp California with many pets- dogs, cats, and horses. My love for animals has been present since I was very small. I’ve been working in the veterinary field since 2003 and I truly love it. It allows me to work with the animals whom I love and also enables me to work in the field of healthcare which is my passion.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences in 2019 from the University of South Dakota. When I’m not working, you can find me chasing my two small children, or petting my one-eyed Persian cat, or doting on my shih tzu pug puppy.
